Gordon C. Tomlinson | Personal Injury Attorney
Gordon C. Tomlinson was born in Jamaica, West Indies where he spent his early childhood. He and his family moved to Greater Fort Lauderdale where he attended high school.
Gordon pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Statistics. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1999 from The Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. In early 2000, he began his legal career with Robert Lipman and Associates where he learned to manage and litigate personal injury cases. Gordon eventually moved on to a law firm in Alpharetta where he started the firm’s tort and injury practice in late 2001.
Gordon has litigated numerous consumer affairs cases at the state and federal levels as a staff attorney with UAW Legal: Daimler Chrysler-Ford-GM. He is an accomplished Georgia licensed attorney with over eight years of significant experience in representing corporate and individual clients in all facets of civil and commercial litigation. His legal background includes litigation management for all phases of litigation practice including jury and bench trials, alternative dispute resolution, motion practice, and appellate advocacy. His achievements include establishing a six year statute of limitations for credit card lawsuits in the State of Georgia in Ricky Hill v. America Express, 289 Ga. App. 576 (2008).
Gordon is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
